Friendship Garden PC game

Picture
PictureUS/ Canadian release with the free Sundance figurine.
Even though the G2 line never had an animated series, it did have a PC game.
Its release was in 1998 and was released in North-America and Europe (cannot confirm the rest at this moment).

Several releases had an exclusive Sundance figurine as a gift included.

In the Netherlands a free pony was included. Not sure how this was in other countries, but I got a Princess Crystal from the store :)

You can design and name the pony to your liking. The goal is to take care of her and teach her new skills to cross the rainbow. You'll have a small farm to manage and once your pony is confident enough, she can cross the bridge to the small village.

Introduction

The game starts with an start screen, introducing the ponies that are featured in the game.

Left to right:
  • Morning Glory
  • Ivy (with a mysteriously odd coloured tail)
  • Sweet Berry
  • Light Heart
  • Sundance (Sun Sparkle?)

Now you can start a save game or open one existing one. When starting a new game you type in your name, age, and birthday (that last one will feature a little in game bonus).

After this you can start designing your pony :)

Starting off

You'll start off in the middle of the map. The Pony Village is to the right, over the bridge. And your pony is to the left at the Farm.
